A flavorful tomato soup, very good with Journey Cakes or garlic bread with a chunk of cheese on the side.
• 1 cup freeze-dried tomato powder
• 6 ounces whole-grain or vegetable noodles
• 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
• 2 teaspoons onion flakes
• 2 teaspoons parsley flakes
• 1 teaspoon oregano
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 tablespoon wheat germ oil
• 3 1/2 cups water
Combine ingredients and bring to boil, stirring often. High simmer for 10 minutes.
Garnishes: wheat germ flakes; Parmesan cheese; wild onions, sliced fine; wild greens, chopped; toasted sesame seeds; squeeze of lemon.
