This is a list of the tools that we use for cooking on the trail. We feel we need everything on this list, and suggest it as a guideline; however, there are no two packs alike.

frying pan
large and small cooking pot with lid, stainless or enamel
medium-sized bowl, one per person
drinking cup and/or measuring cup
pocketknife, spoon, chopsticks
pancake turner
wooden stir spoon
small strainer
small grater (optional)
small can opener
hot pad
assortment of plastic bottles and containers
plastic bags
pot scrubber
safety pins
biodegradable soap
aluminum foil
grill (optional)
extra piece of rope
camp stove and fuel
