Stress and Inability to Adjust to Altitude Change

Symptoms: Combination of headache, fever, extreme fatigue, quick shallow breathing, sweating and nausea. First thing to do is to lie down and rest. If the problem isn’t solved by resting, go to a lower elevation. Drink lots of water and take diuretic teas – any one of the following: plantain, parsley, juniper berries, chamomile, scullcap, golden seal, or flaxseed.
