Serves two to three
• 1 cup rolled oats
• 1 cup rolled wheat
• raisins
• coconut
• dried apples, chopped
• 3 cups water
Mix all ingredients and let soak overnight. Serve for breakfast warm or cold, with or without honey.
Variations: add chopped nuts; add dried apricots, dates, or other fruit; mix 2/3 cup milk powder with water and add; add cinnamon or other spices; try it with rolled barley or rye; add sesame or sunflower seeds.
