Blisters

Don’t open blisters. If the blister should break open, immediately wash well with soap and water, let dry, apply wheat germ oil or vitamin E cream, or even olive oil, if that’s all you have. Cover with a bandaid until healed, applying fresh, oil and changing bandage as needed. Plantain, comfrey, or golden seal may be used also as a poultice. For blistered feet, we recommend “moleskins”. Dr. Scholl’s Moleskin can be found in any drugstore. Cut a hole in the center of a square of moleskin about 1/2″ bigger than blister. Press on foot, cover with sock, and keep clean. After blister opens, apply an oil mentioned above if possible.
