Cashew Gravy

Makes approximately 3 cups

A mild gravy, simple to make, that adds protein to the meal.

• 3/4 cup cashews, ground fine
• 2 tablespoons arrowroot powder
• 1 teaspoon parsley flakes
• 1 teaspoon onion powder
• 1/2 teaspoon celery flakes
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon celery seed
• 2 1/2 to 3 cups water

At home, grind cashews in blender or seed grinder. Bag with remaining dry ingredients. In camp, mix with water and stir over medium heat until thick. Serve hot.
