Makes approximately 1 cup
A spicy, high energy spread that is good on bread or crackers or as a dip for corn chips.
• 1 1/4 cup cooked garbanzo beans
• 1/4 teaspoon parsley
• 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
• 1/8 teaspoon cumin
• 1/8 teaspoon salt
• dash garlic granules
Mash garbanzos or put through a food mill, ricer, or blender, until they make a paste. Add spices and stir well. Store in airtight heavy plastic container.
