Serves Two
• 3/4 cup lentils
• 1/2 cup noodles, whole wheat, soy, or sesame
• 2 tablespoons whole wheat flour
• 2 teaspoons onion flakes
• 3/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 bay leaf
• 1/8 teaspoon cloves, ground
• dash pepper
• 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar OR lemon juice
• 2 tablespoons oil
• 4 cups water
Add all ingredients to cold water, stir well, and bring to a boil. Simmer 30 to 40 minutes.
