Cheese Sauce

Approximately 2 cups

Very quick, very creamy.

• 1/2 cup milk powder
• 2 tablespoons whole wheat flour
• 1 teaspoon parsley flakes
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
• dash cayenne
• 1 3/4 cups water
• 1/4 pound grated Monterey Jack or your favorite mild cheese

Mix water with dry ingredients. Bring just to bubbling point, stirring all the while. Remove from heat, add cheese, stir well, and serve. Bacon bits or soya-bacon bits are a tasty addition as a garnish when serving this over noodles.
