Apple Barley Pudding

Serves four

A good dessert after a light supper.

• 1 cup rolled barley
• 1 cup Home-Dried Apples, chopped
• 1/2 cup raisins
• handful nuts
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
• dash cloves (optional)
• 3 cups water
• honey to taste

Combine ingredients, reserving honey until pudding is cooked. Simmer 5 to 10 minutes, add honey and stir. Serve hot.
