Mixed Seed Butter (sweet)

Makes approximately 1 3/4 cups

May be used on bread, crackers, chapatis, or add a little more water and spread on pancakes.

• 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
• 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
• 1/4 cup sesame butter
• 2 tablespoons honey
• 1 tablespoon sesame oil
• 1 tablespoon water (approximate)

In seed grinder or blender, grind pumpkin and sunflower seeds. Combine all ingredients in bowl and mix well. Store in airtight heavy plastic container.

Variation: to make a Salty Mixed Seed Butter, follow the same recipe, except instead of honey add 2 teaspoons miso and increase the amount of water to approximately 3 tablespoons.
